Chiropractic means "Done by Hands"
PhilosophyChiropractic is a natural approach that focuses on helping the body to work efficiently and at its best optimal level. We know that the nervous system, which is made up of the brain, the spinal cord plus all the other peripheral nerves, is in control of all the functions of the body, and the spine protects them.
The above concept may sound strange to somebody, but the philosophy behind this is very simple: if the nervous system works properly the body is more capable to heal better as well as to perform at its full optimal level. For the last 120 plus years, the philosophy of chiropractic has emphasized that a healthy spine and nervous system could be the key to help anyone in their life regardless of age, condition or even presence of symptoms. |
ScienceLife nowadays can be stressful and often the body has to cope with daily challenges. Some of those challenges can be from repetitive bad posture, falls, work-sport injuries, motor-bike accidents; anxiety, depression, smoking, poor diet, lack of sleep, and so on.
Those daily life challenges could put the spine under stress and make the spine and the body to work extra-mile not only to cope with but also, to adapt thus, we can carry on with our daily life whatever that may be. When in particular the spine is under a constant-repetitive stress then, the spine loses the ability to adapt further and instead of protecting the nervous system now; it interferes with nerve messages within body-brain-body and this may lead to a dis-ease. |
