I always knew I wanted to be part of the health care profession. My journey as a health practitioner started in 1980 when I began studies at The Medical School. After two years of studying there, I confirmed two things: my passion towards health care, but I also discovered that my view and focus for caring for people would be more aligned with a holistic- vitalistic view rather than an allopathic (Medical) one.
The shift from an allopathic view for health towards to a holistic-vitalistic approach took me through a fantastic journey. My passion and desire for knowledge led me to the right path and allowed me to achieve knowledge and skills after done studies and graduate as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, a Masters Degrees in Psychotherapy and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science.
My journey in Chiropractic began by meeting a Chiropractor in 1987. This experience ignited my interest in Chiropractic and after seeing what Chiropractic care was doing on people’s lives I knew immediately that I wanted to be a Chiropractor.
I strongly believe that health is the most precious gift we posses. I understand also that a healthy life style does not come easily, and often it requires effort and commitment towards good habits such as: diet, regular exercise, good posture, hobbies, outdoor activities and relaxation.
For the last 31 years, my passion has been to serve people helping them to resolve a wide variety of health issues such as spine and muscle skeletal problems, sports and work related injuries, children with physical and emotional handicaps and/ or disabilities, people all ages facing neurological challenges and/ or disabilities as well as people just going through emotional difficulties.
My desire for knowledge and my passion for caring for people have never stopped that is why I am committed to offer you the best advice and service possible.
Since 2014 I have been part of the Faculty staff at The New Zealand College of Chiropractic and since March 2015 I became Mentor- Supervisor at the Chiropractic Centre of The New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
I am also part of the Chiropractic Board of New Zealand CPD- Program Auditor's team.
In 2016 I was awarded by the Gonstead Chiropractic Society Australia with the "Gonstead Ambassador Certification" which is the first post graduated level within the profession. And, most recently I have achieved an "Extremity Certification" by the International Board of Extremity Chiropractors.
The Gonstead System of Chiropractic is my passion and that is why I practice it, I teach it and I promote it locally and overseas.
